A workshop is held for YLC faculties presenting their research achievements at Noyori Conference Hall on 10th August, 2015. This workshop is organized for reviewing the research progresses for the YLC faculties who spent two years. For those who made an excellent progress on their research, two more years are awarded as an extension.
The workshop began with greeting from Prof. Shinohara, the IAR director. The speakers are Dr. Umirdinov Alisher from the grad. school of Law, Dr. Shinya Matsuzaki from the grad. school of Science, Dr. Yasuyoshi Yonezawa from the grad. school of Mathematics, Dr. Shinji Miyata from Bioscience and Biotechnology Center, and Dr. Kazuma Sakamoto the grad. school of Medicine. They presented their research achievement as well as their educational activities. The audiences ask various questions and comments including the expertised questions and pedagogical comments. Prof. Matsuo, the president of the Nagoya University made a closing remark. The president Matsuo said that it would be a great pleasure to have such a freewheeling discussions.
