The Institute for Advanced Research's "Special Rearing Plan for Researchers (Tenure-Track Positions)" is a part of the "Supporting Young Researchers with Fixed-term Appointments" program. This program is commissioned by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and is financially supported by the Special Coordination Fund for Promoting Science and Technology for the financial year of 2009.
