Professor Kimio Niwa Awarded

Nishina Memorial Prize

　The Nishina Memorial Foundation has recently awarded Professor Kimio Niwa (Graduate School of Science) the Nishina Memorial Prize, for his “discovery of the tau neutrino in fully automatized scanning device for nuclear emulsion”.

　The Nishina Memorial Prize is awarded to individuals who have made excellent achievements in physics.
