The Association for Bright Future of Women Scientists has recently awarded Professor Ikue Mori (Graduate School of Science) the 2006 Saruhashi Award.

　The Saruhashi Award is awarded annually to a women scientist who has made substantial contribution in the fields of science.

　Professor Mori’s current research theme is “Molecular and physiological basis of learning and memory in the neural circuit of behavior”.
