| Sumio Iijima, Distinguished Invited Professor, Nagoya University, won the 1st Richard E. Smalley Research Award.
The prize is founded by The Electrochemical Society ( www.electrochem.org ) in 2006 and awarded to those who made a prominent achievements on the researches related to fullerene, nanotube, or carbon nanostructure. The ceremony will be held during the Electrochemical Society conference in this May (2008). May we wish Prof. Iijima continued success and prosperity. |
