Ryoji Noyori and Yuan Tseh Lee have been appointed to the honorary directors of IAR, Nagoya University

Nagoya University has long been proposing Dr. Ryoji Noyori (2001 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry) and Dr. Yuan Tseh Lee (1986 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry) to be appointed to the honorary directors of the Institute for Advanced Research, Nagoya University aimed at promoting the activities of the IAR by strengthening its presence both domestically and internationally. The President of Nagoya University, Hirano handed the commission to Dr. Noyori at Nagoya University on 23rd April, 2007 and to Dr. Lee at Academia Sinica Taiwan on 25th April, 2007.
